In the early summer of 1995, brothers Leonard and Gordon Sommer founded their own agency. With no money, no clients, and no staff – just two desks, a lot of gumption and the dream of running their own advertising agency. Three years later, SOMMER+SOMMER was up and running: That year, they were the agency with the highest percentage income growth in all of Germany. In 1998, the company launched SOMMER+SOMMER Interactive. Today, SOMMER+SOMMER is an owner-managed ad agency with 25 staff members for marketing books, chips, chocolate, contact lenses, deodorant, games for children and adults, mineral water, movies, shower gel and stocks – and lots of other exciting things.
